As a Junior: Placed seventh in the 1-meter at the BC Catholic Invitational…Placed sixth in the 1-meter against Bryant…Placed fifth in the 1-meter at URI…At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Hood placed 11th in the 1-meter.
As a Sophomore: In her first appearance as a diver, Hood placed 10th in the 1-meter at the BC Catholic Invitational… Placed third in both rounds of 1-meter against Seton Hall on October 29…Hood competed at Iona College on November 12, at which she scored a 110.15 and a 105.6.
Before Providence: Varsity letters in track and field, sailing, and gymnastics…Competed in club gymnastics for Marblehead YMCA for 15 years…2011 national vault finalist, 2015 national all around and balance beam finalist… 2015 first place uneven bar regional champion and second place all around regional champion…2014 first place all around state champion.
Personal: Born July 12th1996… Daughter of Christopher and Nancy Hood…Younger brother Logan and younger sister Emma… Plans to major in Marketing.
