As a Senior:Â Placed 19th at the New England Catholic Invitational in the 100-yard fly (1:02.92)... Placed 14th in the 100-yard fly at the Harold Anderson Invitational (1:00.00)... Placed 22nd in the 100-yard fly at the BIG EAST Championships (1:00.02).
As a Sophomore: Placed fourth in the 50 yard butterfly (28.75) against URI…Placed third in the 100 scm freestyle (1:01.77) against Iona…At the Harold Anderson Invitational, McCartin placed 18th in the 50 freestyle (25.24), 11th in the 100 butterfly (1:00.35), and 13th in the 100 freestyle (54.95)…McCartin qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in Geneva, Ohio and competed in the 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly, and 100 freestyle.Â
As a Freshman: Placed fourth in the 50-meter free (28.56), swam the 50scm butterfly (30.70) and the 100scm IM (1:10.93), and was a member of the sixth place 200-scm medley relay against URI… At the Harold Anderson Invitational, McCartin was a member of the tenth place 200 freestyle relay, the fifth place 200 medley relay, and the tenth place 400 freestyle relay. Individually, she placed 15th in the 50 freestyle (25.42),  14th in the 100 butterfly (1:01.06), and 10th in the 100 freestyle (54.93)… Placed fourth in the 50 scm freestyle (28.57), fourth in the 100 scm freestyle (1:02.18), and was a member of the 400 scm freestyle relay that placed second against Holy Cross…McCartin qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in the 50 freestyle (25.23), 100 freestyle (54.67), and the 100 fly (1:00.39), and was also a member of the sixth place 200 freestyle relay.
Before Providence: Competed for Saint Andrew’s School, and earned a total of 10 varsity letters in swimming and water polo…Served as team captain for both teams as a senior in 2015-16… Helped guide team to multiple County and District Championships… Earned All-America status in 200-freestyle relay (2013-2014) and 400-freestyle relay (2014-15)…Second-Team All-County performer (2014-15)… School record holder in 200-freestyle relay and for number of blocks in a season as goalie in water polo.ÂPersonal: Born November 15, 1997…Daughter to Diane and George McCartin...Has one brother, Kyle...English and political science major.
