As A Sophomore: Placed 10th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.97) at the New England Catholic Invitational... Finished first against Fairfield in the 200-meter freestyle (2:11.27)... Placed 13th in the 200-yard freestyle at the Harold Anderson Invitational (1:57.42)... Finished 23rd in the 100-yard freestyle 53.04.
Before Providence: Earned four varsity letters swimming at Masconomet High School… Captain of the varsity swim team during Senior year… Two-time Masconomet MVP, sophomore and senior year… Boston Herald All-Star… Broke Eastern Zone 400 freestyle relay record for women ages 15 to 18... Holds school records in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 200 medley, 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay… Second place (100 freestyle), fourth place (50 freestyle), second place (400 freestyle relay) at 2018 Mass State Champion.
Personal: Born July 28, 2000… Daughter of Missie and Chip Bankes… Has one brother, Peter, attending Boston College ‘21… Finance major.
