As A Senior:Â Finished 13th in the 50-yard freestyle at the New England Catholic Invitational (22.05)... Finished first in the 100-yard freestyle at the Harold Anderson Invitational with a seasons-best 47.57. Placed 12th in the 50-yard freestyle at the BIG EAST Championships.
As a Junior: At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Brannigan placed first in the 100 freestyle (46.72) and first in the 50 freestyle (21.24)… Placed first in the 50-scm freestyle (24.06) and second in the 100-scm freestyle (53.83) against Holy Cross…Brannigan qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in East Meadow, NY. He was a member of the fifth place 200 freestyle relay and fifth place 200 medley relay. He placed 13th in the 50 freestyle (21.30), 16th in the 200 freestyle (1:43.67/1:44.46), and 15th in the 100 freestyle (46.74/47.15).Â
As a Sophomore: Placed first in the 50 scm freestyle (23.88), setting a new school record, and first in the 100 scm freestyle (53.49) against Fairfield…At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Brannigan placed first in the 50 freestyle (21.54), fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:45.57), and first in the 100 freestyle (46.87)…placed first in the 50 scm freestyle (24.50) against Maine…Brannigan qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in Geneva, Ohio, where he competed in the 200 freestyle, placed 12th in the 50 freestyle (21.17), and placed 16th in the 100 freestyle 46.62). Brannigan was also a member of the fifth place 200 medley relay, the fifth place 200 freestyle relay, fourth place 200 medley relay, and fifth place 400 freestyle relay.
As a Freshman: Against Bryant, Brannigan broke the school record in the 50-meter freestyle, touching first at 24.11. He later finished second in the 100 free (53.88) … At the Harold Anderson Invitational, freestyler Brannigan placed second in the 50 (21.81), fourth in the 200 (1:46.80), and first in the 100 (46.91), and was a member of the first place 400 medley relay, first place 200 freestyle relay, and first place 400 freestyle relay… Placed first in both the 50 and 100 freestyles (24.60 and 54.32 respectively) against Holy Cross…Brannigan qualified for the BIG EAST Championship in the 50, 100, and 200 yard freestyles. He placed 18th in the 50 (21.49), 16th in the 200 (1:43.96), 15th in the 100 (45.51), and was a member of three fifth place relays: the 800 freestyle relay, the 200 freestyle relay, and the 400 freestyle relay.
