As a Junior: Placed third in the 800 scm freestyle (8:57.91) against Fairfield…At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Magazine placed second in the 500 freestyle (4:44.66), sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:47.79), and first in the 1650 freestyle (16:35.16)…placed second in the 1000 freestyle (10:11.73) against Villanova…Placed first the 1000 freestyle (10:05.57) and second in the 500 (4:55.04) against Holy Cross…Magazine qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in Geneva, Ohio where he competed in the 500 freestyle, 200 freestyle, and placed 12th in the 1650 freestyle (16:28.78).
As a Sophomore: Placed fifth in the 1000 yard freestyle (10:28.49) at the New England Catholic Invitational…Placed fifth in the 500 freestyle (5:09.04) against Iona College...placed third in the 400 scm freestyle (4:21.48)… At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Magazine placed fourth in the 500 yard freestyle (4:51.59), eighth in the 200 yard freestyle (1:48.39), and second in the 1650 freestyle (16:54.33)… placed first in the 800 scm freestyle (9:11.39) against Holy Cross…Magazine qualified for the BIG EAST Championship in the 500, 200, and 1650 freestyles. He placed 19th in the 500 (4:48.62), 22nd in the 200 (1:47.77), and 14th in the 1650 freestyle (16:51.33).
