As a Junior: Placed 13th in the 200 breaststroke (2:36.49) at the BC Catholic Invitational…Placed fifth in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:14.05) against Bryant…At the Harold Anderson Invitational, DeSernia was a member of the 12th place 400 medley relay, placed 29th in the 200 IM (2:17.88), 14th in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:09.60), and ninth in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:30.61)…Placed fourth in both the 100 yard breaststroke (1:13.75) and the 200 yard breaststroke (2:39.52) against Holy Cross…DeSernia qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in Geneva, Ohio and competed in the 200 IM, 100 breaststroke, and notably qualified for consolation finals in the 200 breaststroke, in which she finished 15th (2:28.47).
