As A Senior:Â Placed 12th in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Harold Anderson Invitational (1:08.66)... Swam a season-best 1:08.13 in the 100-yard breaststroke at the BIG EAST Championships.
As a Sophomore: Did not compete in the 2017-18 season.
As a Freshman: At the New England Catholic Invite, Gaccione was a member of the 16th place 200-yard freestyle relay and the eighth place 200-yard medley relay, placed 14th in the 200-yard IM (2:17.24), 12th in the 100-yard breastroke (1:12.01), and sixth in the 200-yard breastroke (2:32.82)…Placed sixth in the 100-scm breastroke (1:19.84), second in the 200-scm breastroke (2:50.35) and third in the 200-scm IM (2:32.70) against Bryant on October 21… On October 29 at Seton Hall, Gaccione placed fourth in both the 200-yard breastroke (2:31.64) and the 100-yard breastroke (1:11.03)…Was a member of the sixth place 200-scm medley relay, placed third in the 50-scm breastroke (37.25), and second in the 100-scm breastroke (1:21.66) and seventh in the 100-scm IM (1:11.88)… Placed fourth in the 100-scm breastroke (1:20.58) and first in the 200-scm breastroke (2:51.95) against Holy Cross on January 21…Gaccione qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in the 200 IM (27th, 2:15.02), 100 breastroke (15th, 1:08.77), and 200 breastroke (15th, 2:29.09), and made consolation finals in both the 100 and 200 breastrokes.
Before Providence:Placed  Qualified for Sectionals four years in a row (freshman-senior).
Personal: Born January 02, 1999; Parents are Linda and John Gaccione...Has one younger brother, John Jr...Providence College Honors Program student...Biology major on the Pre-Med track.
