As A Junior: Set program records in the 200-yard freestyle (1:39.86), the 200-yard IM (1:50.78) and the 100-yard butterfly (49.86)... Placed seventh in the 200-yard IM at the New England Catholic Invitational (1:59.07)... Placed first at the Harold Anderson Invitational in the 100-yard butterfly (50.83), 200-yard butterfly (1:52.26) and the 200-yard IM (1:54.36)... Placed first in the 100-meter butterfly against Maine (58.28)... Finished sixth in the 200-yard IM at the BIG EAST Championships (1:50.78)... Finished 10th in the 200-yard butterfly at the BIG EAST Championships (1:50.94).
As a Sophomore: Placed first in the 200 butterfly (1:56.74) at the New England Catholic Invitational… placed first in the 100 scm butterfly (1:02.28), and first in the 200 scm IM (2:15.37) against Fairfield…At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Ferrell placed third in the 100 butterfly (50.69/51.69), second in the 200 freestyle (1:43.04/1:45.51), and sixth in the 200 butterfly (1:54.35/1:58.98)…Ferrell qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in East Meadow, NY. Individually, Ferrell set two school records with his sixth place finish in the 200 IM (1:51.28), and fifteenth place finish in the 100 butterfly (50.25). He was also member of the fifth place 800 freestyle relay, which set a new school record of 6:46.69, as well as the fifth place 200 medley relay.
As a Freshman: Placed sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:48.97) at the BC Catholic Invitational…At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Ferrell placed 12th in the 500 freestyle (5:01.75), 11th in the 100 backstroke (55.81), and seventh in the 200 backstroke (2:00.20)…placed third in the 100 butterfly (55.10) against Holy Cross…Placed first in the 200 scm butterfly (2:11.18) against Maine…Ferrell qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in Geneva, Ohio where he placed 16th in the 100 butterfly (50.83), 16th in the 100 backstroke (52.98), and competed in the 200 yard butterfly. Ferrell was also a member of the fourth place 400 medley relay.
Before Providence: Earned four varsity letters swimming at The Lovett School…captain of the team during Senior year…200 freestyle runner-up in Georgia 1-5A State Championships and third place in 100 butterfly…holds school records in 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 fly, 200 IM, 200 medley relay, and 400 freestyle relay.
Personal: Born April 11, 1999…Son of Carla and Brant Ferrell…has one sister, Maddie, a student at Clemson University…Accounting major.
