As A Senior: Placed 20th in the 200-yard breaststroke at the New England Catholic Invitational (2:29.65)... Placed ninth in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Harold Anderson Invitational.
As a Junior:Placed fourth in the 100 scm breastroke (1:10.11) and second in the 200 scm breastroke (2:32.98) against Fairfield…At the Harold Anderson Invitational at URI, Centrella swam the breastroke legs of both the 200 and 400 medley relays, the former placing fourth and the latter placing third. Individually, he placed fourth in the 200 breastroke (2:12.91/2:13.02) and fifth in the 100 breastroke (1:00.81/1:00.66). Studied abroad during the spring semester.
As a Sophomore: Placed third in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:20.86) against Bryant…At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Centrella placed sixth in the 200 IM (2:00.87), eighth in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.09), and fourth in the 200 breasktroke (2:11.34)…Centrella qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in Geneva, Ohio, where he competed in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes.
As a Freshman: At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Centrella placed eighth in the 200 IM (2:00.77), sixth in the 100 breastroke (1:00.72), and eighth in the 200 breastroke (2:12.77), and was a member of the fourth place 200 medley relay…placed third in the 100 scm breastroke (1:10.44) against Holy Cross…Centrella qualified for the BIG EAST Championship in the 200 IM and the 100 and 200 breastrokes. He placed 28th in the 200 IM (2:01.99), 16th in the 100 breastroke (59.32), and 12th in the 200 breastroke (2:09.82).
