As A Junior:Â Placed 19th in the 200-yard freestyle at the Harold Anderson Invitational (1:57.69).
As a Freshman: Placed sixth in the 200 freestyle (2:04.11) and fifth in the 500 freestyle (5:26.27) against Bryant…placed fourth in the 500 freestyle (5:24.22) against URI…Placed third in the 400 scm freestyle (4:41.20) against Fairfield…At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Kavanaugh placed 20th in the 500 (5:20.42), 19th in the 200 freestyle (1:59.61), and 24th in the 100 freestyle (56.17)…Placed second in the 200 scm freestyle (2:13.19) against Maine…Kavanaugh qualified for the BIG EAST Championships in Geneva, Ohio and swam the 500, 200, and 100 freestyles.Â
Before Providence: Earned one varsity letter swimming at Oakdale High School…holds Maryland state records in 200 freestyle and 200 IM relays…holds school record in 50 freestyle…earned one varsity letter playing Field Hockey…National Honor Society member…Spanish National Honor Society member…earned Foreign Language Award.
