BIRMINGHAM, ALA. –The Providence College senior Millie Paladino (Morgantown, W. VA.) raced in the final of the women's mile at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Mar. 9. The senior finished third overall with a time of 4:38.44 to earn First Team All-America Honors.
Paladino ran a tactically smart race, positioning herself in the middle of the pack from the start. The entire field remained tightly bunched until the final 400 meters.
