O'Neill finished fourth in heat one with a time of 2:03.40 missing the third place qualifying spot by .03 of a second.

AYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Providence College women's track and field junior Maeve O'Neill (Cork, Ireland) raced in the preliminary heats of the women's 800 meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships at the Randal Tyson Center on Friday, March 13. The junior finished fourth in heat one with a time of 2:03.40 missing the third place qualifying spot by .03 of a second.

O'Neill earned Second Team All-America honors in the 800 meters.
