As a Freshman: Placed first in the 1000 freestyle (9:59.42) and first in the 500 freestyle (4:51.41) at the BC Catholic Invitational… Placed second in the 800 scm freestyle (8:45.56) and first in the 400 scm freestyle (4:15.91) against Fairfield…At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Perron placed 10th in the 500 freestyle (4:56.78), and 17th in the 200 freestyle (1:54.11)…Placed 11th in the 200 freestyle (1:53.17).
Before Providence: Earned four varsity letters swimming at Falmouth High School…captain during Junior and Senior year…state champion in the 500 freestyle, 1000 freestyle, and 1650 freestyle.
Personal: Born February 24, 1999… Son of Andrew and Betsy Perron… has one brother, Jake, a student and member of the swimming and diving team at Davidson College and two sisters, Emma, a graduate of Virginia Tech and Grace… Father Andrew was on the crew team at the University of Pennsylvania… Mother Betsy was on the swimming and diving team at the University of Pennsylvania…plans on studying economics.
