PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Providence College softball team is set to host a doubleheader against the Stonehill Skyhawks on Wednesday, March 11 on Glay Field in Providence, R.I. The first game is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by the second matchup at 2:00 p.m.

SCOUTING PROVIDENCE
Providence enters this midweek match with a 4-10 record. The Friars are coming off a bye week.

Cameron Dunn. (Bothell, Wash.) has had an impressive season for Providence so far. The infielder has been featured on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll twice and leads the team with a .390 batting average, as well as in hits (16), home runs (six), RBI (13) and slugging percentage (.927).

Brianna De La Fuente (Metuchen, N.J.) hit .438 over five starts in the Friars' most recent games, recording two doubles, one home run and five RBI. She also posted a .526 on-base percentage and .750 slugging percentage, earning her a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

Alyssa Twomey (Warwick, R.I.) leads the Friars' pitching staff with a 4.73 ERA and a 3-1 record. She has recorded 23 strikeouts across 23.2 innings.

SCOUTING STONEHILL
Stonehill comes into the series with a 0-9 record, having recently posted a 0-5 mark at the Austin Peay Governors Classic where they fell to Ohio University twice, host Austin Peay State twice and Central Michigan.
Sarah Taylor and Jade Sanders lead the offense for the Skyhawks. Taylor has recorded seven RBI and one home run while posting a .435 slugging percentage. Sanders owns a .333 batting average with a .533 slugging percentage and one home run.
Alexa Hospodar leads Stonehill's pitching staff. She owns a 6.42 ERA and has allowed 25 hits and 17 runs across four appearances.
