The Friars return to action next week when they participate in the Charge On Classic hosted by UCF.

GAINESVILLE, Fla.- The Providence College softball team was defeated by Binghamton University, 4-0, in the last day of Bubly Invitational play on Sunday, February 16, in Gainesville, Fla. Providence moved to 0-9 on the season.  

GAME NOTES 
• Binghamton opened the scoring with three runs in the second and one in the sixth (4-0).  
• The Friars were unable to get on the board and fell, 4-0.  
• Alyssa Twomey (Warwick, R.I.), Tori Grifone (Sussex, N.J.) and Jessica Walter (Middletown, Del.) each spent time in the circle for the Friars. The three pitchers combined for six strikeouts while conceding 10 hits and four earned runs.  

ON DECK 
The Friars will finish regular season tournament action next weekend when they head to Orlando, Fla. to participate in the Charge On Classic hosted by the University of Central Florida. Providence will play in six games from Feb. 28 – March 2.
