Castañeda scored the game-winning goal for the Friars in their 1-0 win over Rutgers.
NEW YORK, N.Y.- It was announced today (Sept. 9) that Providence College men's soccer player Kevin Castañeda (Providence, R.I.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. Castañeda, a graduate transfer from the University of Rhode Island, scored his first goal of the season to carry the Friars to a 1-0 win over Rutgers (Sept. 6).

Castañeda, alongside the rest of the team, will take on Ocean State rival, URI (3-0-1), tonight at 7:00 p.m. on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in Providence, R.I. The match will be streamed on FloSports.
