PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Providence College men's soccer players
Diego Batista (Barcelos, Portugal),
Charlie Dickerson (Norwich, England) and
Bruno Rosa (Cascais, Portugal) were named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men's All-East Region on Dec. 9. Batista earned Men's All-East Region Second Team honors while Dickerson and Rosa were named to the Men's All-East Third Team.
Midfielder
Diego Batista started in all 16 games for the Friars this season, registering an assist, while anchoring the midfield and contributing on both sides of the ball. Batista, a 2025 Preseason All-BIG EAST Team selection and a member of the United Soccer Coaches "Players to Watch" list was key to the Friars' 25th appearance in the BIG EAST Tournament. Batista was named to the 2025 All-BIG East First Team.
Defender
Charlie Dickerson has been a mainstay in Providence's back line since joining the team this season, starting all 16 matches and logging over 1400 minutes. He is part of a defense that secured four shutouts this season, including one against UConn which earned Dickerson a BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll recognition. Dickerson was also a consistent threat on corner kick opportunities, logging nine shots on the season as a center back. Dickerson was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team.
Forward
Bruno Rosa finished the season as one of Providence's top attacking threats. Rosa tallied 11 points on four goals and three assists. He was a consistent playmaker throughout conference play and earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for his 5-point performance against Villanova earlier this season. Rosa was a member of the 2025 Preseason All-BIG EAST Team as well as the 2025 United Soccer Coaches Players to Watch List. Rosa was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team.

Providence College finished the 2025 campaign with a record of 6-7-3 (4-2-2 BIG EAST), earning a spot in the programs 25
th BIG EAST Tournament, claiming the No. 4 seed.
