Ryan Carney Invited To U20 U.S. Men’s National Team Training Camp

Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Ryan Carney has been invited to the U.S. U20 Men’s National Team training camp at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Ariz.
Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Ryan Carney (Dunstable, Mass.) has been invited to the U.S. U20 Men's National Team training camp which is taking place Jan. 10-16 at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa, Ariz.
"We're excited to utilize the January camp to evaluate this group of players in a combined environment," said Barry Pauwels, Head of Development for Men's Youth National Teams. "The national team provides a unique platform that complements the daily club environment, enabling us to accelerate player development by supporting each individual within the specific context of their journey."
Carney started every game this season for the Friars, earning four shutouts and helping the Friars earn a Big EAST Tournament bid. He was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on Oct. 17 for his efforts in a 1-0 win over Marquette.
