Men’s Soccer To Compete In Inaugural Northeast Spring Cup

New England Schools to Compete in Premier Spring Collegiate Soccer League

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men's soccer team will compete in the 2026 Northeast Spring Cup. The NSC will bring together UNH, Boston College, Boston University, UConn, Providence, UMass, Bryant and Vermont for a multi-day showcase of NCAA Division I men's soccer at venues throughout New England.
Teams will be divided into groups of four, with a North and South region. Each team is guaranteed three games against each of its opponents in its division. The top team from each group will advance to the championship final. All remaining teams will play a fourth match to determine third through eighth place. The time and place for all games will be announced at a later date.

The Friars finished the 2025 season with a 6-7-3 overall record and a 4-2-2 mark in BIG EAST play. They advanced to the program's 25th BIG EAST Tournament as the No. 4 seed before losing to No. 1 Georgetown in the semifinal match.
