Rosa recorded five points on two goals and one assist over the Friars’ two games last week.
PROVIDENCE, R.I.- It was announced today (Sept. 30) that junior Bruno Rosa (Cascais, Portugal) of the No. 18 Providence College men's soccer team was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. Rosa registered five points across the Friars' two games last week.
Rosa tallied an assist in the opening 10 minutes of the match against Brown on Sept. 24. He then delivered a crucial performance against Creighton on Sept. 28, scoring two goals including a last-second equalizer to secure a comeback draw for the Friars. With his two goals, Rosa moved past Pepe Lora (Madrid, Spain) to become the team's leading scorer. This marks Rosa's first BIG EAST recognition of the season.
