Through eight games overall, Pennisi ranks second on the team in scoring with nine points on four goals and one assist. Her four goals is tied for the team lead.

She scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the Friars' 2-0 victory over Quinnipiac and also added one assist. She closed the weekend with her first career multi-assist game against Holy Cross. Through eight games this season, Martina leads Providence in scoring with 11 points (3g/5a).
