CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Providence College softball team was defeated by Austin Peay, 8-0, in five innings on Tuesday, March 7 in Clarksville, Tenn.
GAME NOTES
- Austin Peay scored eight runs in four innings to conclude the game in five innings.
- Junior Jacque Harrington (Bedford, N.H.) had the lone hit for the Friars.
- Freshman Emily Jonte (Allen, Texas) and senior Elysia Cunnigan (Corona, Calif.) each pitched 2.0 innings for the Friars

The Friars will travel to Queens, N.Y. to kick-off BIG EAST play against St. John's University in a three-game series beginning on Friday, March 10.
