PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College field hockey team was among the list of 42 teams who earned the NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award, sponsored by TopSticks. The National Field Hockey Coaches' Association released the list of winners on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
The NFHCA National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the 2022 fall semester.

Earlier this month, eleven members of the team were named to the Division I All-Academic Squad:
Emily Antunes,
Bella Carrozza,
Brenna Cavallaro,
Tori Colautti, Eleonore de Keyser,
Bella DelNegro,
Caroline Krebs,
Taylor Ligozio,
McKayla Lyons,
Marley Mailloux and
Lisa McNamara.
Antunes also was recognized as a Division I Scholar of Distinction.
