Three different Friars scored in the victory.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The 24th-ranked Providence College men's soccer team defeated Brown University, 3-0, Wednesday, Sept. 22 at Stevenson-Pincince Field. Sophomore forward Brendan McSorley (Randolph, N.J.), Ramzi Qawasmy (Landsdale, Pa.), and Thomas Tulgar (Bergenfield, N.J.) scored for the Friars.

• Both teams remained scoreless at the end of a closely contested first half.• The Friars outshot the bears 5-1 in the first half.
• Ramzi Qawasmy (Landsdale, Pa.) scored the opening goal for the Friars in the first half off of a corner kick.
