Amanda Collins Named To NFHCA Division I All-Northeast Region Second Team

Collins earned All-Region accolades for the first time in her career.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College senior field hockey player Amanda Collins (San Diego, Calif.) was named to the NFHCA Division I All-Northeast Region Second Team on Nov. 22. Collins earned All-Region honors for the first time in her career. She previously was selected to the All-BIG EAST Second Team on Nov. 3.
 
Collins has started all 66 games during her career, playing every minute for the Friars as a defender. She also played a critical role in the Friars' offensive and defensive corner units. During the 2021 season, she tallied a career high nine points on four goals and one assist. Two of her four goals came during BIG EAST Conference play vs. Villanova and Old Dominion. In her four years with the program, she posted 26 points, 10 goals and six assists.
