Colin Miller Signs with Loudoun United FC

The club announced Miller’s signing yesterday (Feb. 27).

Leesburg, Va.Colin Miller (Bel Air, Md.) who recently completed his senior campaign with Providence College men's soccer, has signed a professional contract with Loudoun United FC, as announced by the club yesterday (Feb. 27).
 
Miller started all 19 games in net for the Friars during the 2019 campaign. The redshirt senior logged 1,778 minutes and tallied nine shutouts, which broke his personal record for shutouts in a season. He was named the BIG EAST Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year, to the SMU and Capitol City Classic All-Tournament Teams, to the All-BIG EAST Second Team and to the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Third Team.
 
In total, Miller played 53 games during his four-year career. He posted a 29-15-7 record with 22 shutouts. He also recorded a 0.97 goals against average and a 0.778 save percentage for the Friars. He helped Providence reach the Final Four in 2016, when he was also named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year.
 
Loudoun United FC is set to kick off its inaugural campaign in the USL Championship pending league and federation approval. The official affiliate of Major League Soccer's D.C. United, Loudoun will begin play on Saturday, March 9 at Nashville SC.
