BOSTON, MASS. - The Providence College softball team played its final away game of the year on Tuesday, April 24 when they took on the Boston University Terriers. Providence lost the contest, 7-0, and dropped its season record to 11-27 on the season.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
-The Terriers started the scoring in the bottom of the first, scoring one run to take a 1-0 lead.
-BU added to its lead in the bottom of the third and the bottom of the fifth to take its 7-0 lead.
-Five different players recorded a hit each in the loss.
- Christina Ramirez (Niceville, Fla.) pitched 4.0 innings in the loss, allowing six runs. She was credited with the loss and dropped her season record to 5-12.
- Miranda Trinidad (La Habra, Calif.) pitched 2.0 innings of relief, allowing only one hit and one earned run.

Providence plays host to St. John's for a three-game series on April 28-29.
