Men's Soccer Ranked 18th In The Nation

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its national rankings poll today (Sept. 8). The Providence College men's soccer team is ranked 18th in the poll after another undefeated weekend of play. Providence also is one of three BIG EAST schools ranked in the top-25.

Over the Labor Day weekend, the Friars tied Holy Cross, 1-1, on Sept. 4 and then shutout Rhode Island, 1-0 to continue their four-game unbeaten streak. Both games were played on the road.

The Friars are now 3-0-1 on the season and will host in-state rival Brown at 7:00 p.m. on Sept. 11 at the Ray Treacy Track.
