Men's Soccer Announces Incoming Class

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College men's soccer Head Coach Craig Stewart announced today (August 6) the addition of 10 student-athletes to the 2015 roster.

The incoming class consists of Alex Vigliotti (Branford, Conn.), Guyllian Kabala (Manchester, N.H.), Alexander DoRego (Riverside, R.I.), Tiago Mendonca (Faro, Portugal), Kyle Hartigan (Butler, N.J.), William Risigo (Kennebunkport, Maine), Taylor Demick (Freehold, N.J.), John Hamilton (East Hampstead, N.H.), Steve Kilday (Marshfield, Mass.) and Brendan Constantine (Glastonbury, Conn.).

Vigliotti, a 5-10, 163-pound forward attended Hamden Hall High School. During his sophomore year, Vigliotti received All-State honors. He also played club soccer for Oakwood SC.

Kabala is a 5-9, 160-pound midfielder/defender. He attended Saint Stephen's Episcopal for one year and Manchester Central High School for three years. During the 2010-11 season, Guyllian was a member of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. In 2012, he was named to the U.S. Under -17 Men's National Team for the Four Nations Tournament in Argentina. He also played club soccer for four years with the New England Revolution Academy.

DoRego, a 5-6, 130-pound midfielder/defender attended East Providence High School for four years. He captained the team in his senior year, and also served as a captain for his club team, the Bayside FC Bolts. In 2013, DoRego was named the 2013 Premier Player of the Year. During his senior year, he was named All-State First Team and Male Athlete of the Year. DeRego helped the Bayside FC Bolts to five State Cup Championships, as well as the 2013 Regional Title and the 2013 Disney Showcase Championship.

Mendonca is a 6-0, 172-pound midfielder. He played club soccer for the Faro-based S.C. Farense team for 10 years.

Hartigan, a 6-7, 215-pound goalkeeper attended DePaul Catholic High School for four years. While at DePaul Catholic he was named First Team All-County and Sectional All-State, and helped his teams to two County Championships, two Conference Championships and two State Sectional Finals. He also played for the TSF Academy Club Team.

Risigo is a 6-0, 175-pound midfielder/defender. He attended Cheverus High School for four years and also played for Seacoast United. Risigo captained the Seacoast United U.S. Development Academy Under-18 Team.

Demick, a 5-8, 150-pound midfielder attended Colts Neck High School for four years. During his senior year, Demick captained the Colts Neck HS soccer team. He recorded six goals and six assists to lead the squad in scoring (18 points).

Hamilton is a 5-10, 160-pound midfielder/defender and attended Pinkerton Academy for four years. During his sophomore year, Hamilton was an All-State Honorable Mention. Hamilton also played club soccer for the FC Bolts Celtic and was a member of their Under-16 and Under-18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

Kilday will be joining his older brother and red-shirt senior, Jeff Kilday, this year. Steven Kilday is a 6-0, 175-pound defender and attended Marshfield High School for three years and Worcester Academy for two years. During his three years at Marshfield, he recorded 16 goals and 20 assists and then went on to register six goals and 19 assists in two seasons at Worcester Academy. Kilday guided the Worcester Academy to the NEPSA Class A finals in 2013 and the semifinals in 2014. He also has played for the Crusaders United Soccer Club team, and helped them to reach the Under-17 and Under-18 state finals.

Constantine, a 5-5, 150-pound midfielder played club soccer for Oakwood SC. During the 2013-14 season, Constantine was selected to the USSDA Academy Select game as a striker and has been called up to a number of U.S. youth team camps at the Under 14-15 levels. He also ranked No. 76 on College Soccer News list of the top-150 high school seniors for the Class of 2015.
