Keasel Broome '14 Signs With New York Cosmos

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was announced on Wednesday, April 1 that Providence College men's soccer goalkeeper alum Keasel Broome `14 signed his first professional contract with the New York Cosmos of the North American Soccer League.

Earlier in the year, Broome was drafted fourth in the third round (46th overall) of the 2015 MLS Draft.

Broome played every minute of every game for the Friars during their historic 2014 campaign. He also co-captained the team to its first ever BIG EAST Championship and College Cup appearance. For his career, Broome played in 59 games as a Friar, recording 14 shutouts for a 31-18-8 record. He also is the Providence College all-time single-season record holder for minutes played (2131:16).
