Men's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College men's soccer Head Coach Craig Stewart announced the program's spring schedule on Monday, March 16. The Friars will play in friendlies against five northeast opponents.

Providence will open its spring games on Thursday, March 26 when they host Holy Cross in a 7:30 p.m. night cap at the Ray Treacy Track and Field Complex. On Tuesday, March 31st, the Friars will host another 7:30 p.m. game, this time against Bryant.

In April, Providence will host Hartford on the 9th for a 7:30 p.m. game against the Hawks. Providence will then travel to Northeastern (April 16) and Harvard (April 23) at 7:00 p.m. on their respective days.

The Friars soccer program will wrap up its spring season with its annual alumni game that will take place on Saturday, April 25 at 3:00 p.m.

Providence concluded its most successful season in program history during its 2014 campaign. The Friars won the BIG EAST Championship and advanced to the Final Four of the College Cup for the first time ever. With a 16-5-2 record, the team recorded the most wins in a season by any men's soccer team at Providence College.
