Saturday's BIG EAST Men's Soccer Opener Postponed

Sept. 26, 2014 PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

Due to travel issues, Providence College's men's soccer BIG EAST opener scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27 at No. 13 Marquette has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced.

The Friars were unable to get into Milwaukee after more than one thousand flights were cancelled across the Midwest due to a fire at a FAA facility near Chicago.

Providence's next scheduled game will be at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at Connecticut.
