Providence will kick off the season on August 31 with a home match against Sacred Heart at Glay Field. The Friars will then travel to Kingston, R.I. to face the University of Rhode Island on September 3. The Friars start their BIG EAST schedule on September 21 when they travel to Chicago, Ill. to take on DePaul for the first time ever. Two days later on September 23, PC will play USF in Tampa, Fla. The Friars will then play a pair of conference home games as they will take on Syracuse on September 28 and St. John's on September 30. PC hits the road for two games, beginning on October 6 in Washington D.C. against Georgetown. The Friars also will battle Connecticut on October 10 in Storrs, Conn. Marquette will make its first trip ever to Providence College as the two teams will square off on October 13.

On October 16, PC will travel to Boston College for a non-conference game, before returning to BIG EAST action against Pittsburgh on October 21 in Pittsburgh, Pa. The Friars then round out their home schedule with games against Seton Hall (October 24) and Notre Dame (October 28). The regular season finale will take place on November 3 at West Virginia with the BIG EAST Tournament First Round slated to begin on November 7.
