University of New Hampshire Wildcats (5-2-0) - The Wildcats come to Glay Field after defeating Massachusetts, 1-0, in their last game on September 18. Scoring the only goal in the match was New Hampshire assist leader, junior midfielder Josh Hareld (North Kingstown, R.I.). Hareld ranks third on the team in scoring with six points (one goal, four assists). Sophomore forward Logan Lee (Racine, Wis.), leads the team in goals (five), points (10), hat tricks (one), and game-winning goals (two). Sophomore Mike Vignola (Hudson, N.H.) is currently tops among America East goalkeepers with a 0.75 goals against average. Vignola has recorded two shutouts and has made 26 saves in seven games. Eight-year Head Coach Rob Thompson has the Wildcats currently ranked seventh in the latest NSCAA/adidas Division I New England Top-10 poll. New Hampshire tied PC last year, 2-2, in Durham, N.H. and has not lost to the Friars since 1990.

Providence College Friars (1-5-0) - The Friars host New Hampshire on September 25 at Glay Field. It will mark the first time the two teams have played at PC since 1992. In the Friars' last game, on September 22 in South Bend, Ind., PC was defeated by fifth-ranked Notre Dame, 5-1. Providence played a strong first half and only trailed by one goal, 1-0, after 45 minutes of play before the Irish put the game away with four second-half goals. Providence freshman midfielder Eoin Lynch (Yarmouth, Maine) scored the lone goal for the Friars at 80:01. Lynch is tied with senior midfielder Mauricio Solano (Coral Springs, Fla.) for the team lead in goals with two. Lynch also is second on the team in points with four. Head Coach Chaka Daley, in his third year, leads the Friars as they look to improve on their 9-5-2 overall record all-time versus the Wildcats.
