Men's Cross Country Finishes Second At Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. -- The Providence College men's cross country team, ranked eighth nationally, finished second of six teams at the Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 14 in Hanover, N.H. The Friars scored 62 points, while host Dartmouth recorded 25 points to finish first.

The Friars' top scorer was senior Tyler McCabe (Mystic, Conn.), who crossed the finish line in fifth place in a time of 25:19. Sophomore Dylan Wykes (Kingston, Ont.) finished ninth in a time of 5:35, while freshman Martin Fagan (Mullingar, Ireland) placed 15th in a time of 25:55. Also scoring for the Friars were senior Tim Curran (Northboro, Mass.), who finished 17th with a time of 26:00 and sophomore Ben Pollock (Westford, Mass.), who finished 31st with a time of 26:47.

The Friars return to action on Saturday, September 28 at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn. at noon.
