Cormac Dixon finish as top Friar in Princeton.
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Providence College men's cross country team competed in the Princeton Fall Classic, hosted by Princeton University on Friday, Oct. 17. The Friar men placed ninth (288 points) of 31 teams in the 8k race and were paced sophomore Cormac Dixon (Dublin, Ireland) who finished 23rd in a time of 23:36.6.

After Dixon, freshman Oliver Neate (Sydney, Australia) placed 41st (23:58.2), sophomore Daniel Prescott (Christchurch, New Zealand) was 48th (24:03.7, 46th scoring) and sophomore Elliott Pugh (Tauranga, New Zealand) placed 89th (24:20.1, 84th scoring). Sophomore Liam McCay (Liverpool, England) was the final scorer for the Friars, finishing 100th (24:24.0, 93rd scoring). The men's race featured 318 runners.
The Friars will return to action on Friday, Oct. 24 at the Rothenberg Run at the Mark Coogan Cross Country Course at Highland Park in Attleboro, Mass.
