As a Senior: Placed seventh in both the 50 yard breaststroke (34.86) and the 100 yard breaststroke (1:15.33) against URI…Placed fifth in the 200 scm breaststroke (3:00.19) against Iona…At the Harold Anderson Invitational, Collins placed 27th in the 100 breaststroke (1:14.31) and 26th in the 200 breaststroke (2:41.43)…Was a member of the 200 scm medley relay that placed sixth, and also placed sixth in the 100 scm breaststroke (1:25.56) against Maine…Placed 10th in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:16.62) at the Georgetown and Seton Hall tri-meet.Â
As a Junior: Studied abroad during the fall semester…Was a member of the 200scm medley relay that placed fifth against Holy Cross on January 21… placed third in the 200scm breastroke (3:01.81) on February 12 against Georgetown.
Before Providence: Earned four varsity letters in swimming at the Academy of Our Lady of Mercy Lauralton Hall ... Captained the team her senior year ... Named All-State all four years and All-Conference for three years ... Assisted her team in becoming Class S State Champions in 2012 ... Earned Honor Roll all four years.
Personal: Born December 26, 1995 ... Daughter of Thomas and Sonia Collins ... Has one sister, Emily Collins, who plays Tennis at Providence ('20) ... Global Studies major with minors in Spanish and political science.
