Recorded her first save in a 4-3 victory against St. John[apos]s on March 28, 2011 ... Posted a 3.80 ERA ... 2011: Made 34 appearances and started 28 games as a pitcher ... Finished tied for the team lead with 11 wins and a team-best 127 strikeouts in 169.1 innings pitched ... Also led the team with four shutouts and 18 complete games ... In 15 BIG EAST games, she recorded five wins, including one shutout ... 2010: Made 28 appearances and started 16 games as a pitcher ... Had 71 strikeouts in 126.2 innings pitched ... Finished with eight wins and a 3.04 earned run average.

COOPER CITY HS: Earned letters in softball, soccer and volleyball at Cooper City ... Was team captain of the softball team (2007-09) ... Recorded 121 strikeouts, hit five home runs and had 17 RBI in 2009 ... Named Miami Herald and Sun Sentinel First Team All-County, Miami Herald Pitcher and Player of the Year and earned the Navy Seal Award for Courage ... Helped her team win District, Regional and State championships in 2009.
