GAME FLOW & NOTES
-The teams skated scoreless through the first period. Clarkson was penalized three times in the opening frame, but the Friars were unable to capitalize. Providence also went on the penalty kill twice and successfully killed off both.
-The Golden Knights took the lead on the power play at 15:03 of the second period on a goal from Andrea Trnkova. Raedyn Spademan and Manon Le scodan were credited with the assists.
-Six more penalties were called in the second period, three for each team.
-Clarkson extended its lead to 2-0 at 11:26 of the second period on a goal from Sara Manness. Sena Catterall and Keira Hurry picked up the assists.
-The Golden Knights secured the victory with an empty-net goal from Lara Beecher with 1:35 remaining in regulation. Catterall and Trnkova earned the assists.
