Friars To Commence Play At Butler On March 11

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - It was announced today (March 10) that the Providence College softball team will open BIG EAST play against Butler in a three-game series starting with a doubleheader on Monday, March 11 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The Friars will play the final game of the series on Tuesday, March 12 at 12:00 p.m.
In their most recent game, Providence defeated Howard University by a margin of 15-1 in five innings. The Friars concluded their non-conference schedule with a 6-7 record.
