• The Friars finished the 2022 season with a 25-21 overall record and an 11-13 mark in BIG EAST regular season play. Providence finished fifth in the final BIG EAST standings.
• Through the Friars first 20 games, they held a record of 14-6. It marked their best 20-game start since 2006.
• The Friars posted a 4-0 record in the 2022 DeMarini Tiger Clash from March 4-5 earning wins against Towson University (7-2), Columbia University (8-5) and two wins over Coppin State University (18-0, 4-1). Providence outscored opponents over the span of four games, 34-8.
• In April, Providence earned its first three-game BIG EAST sweep since the 2019 season over Georgetown.
• On May 6, the Friars earned their first win against DePaul University since May 5, 2012.
• Sophomore Jacque Harrington (Bedford, N.H.) led the Friars offense with a team-high .359 batting average. She also led the team in hits (51), runs (29), homeruns (12) and RBIs (28). Harrington earned All-BIG EAST Second Team honors.
• Sophomore Tori Grifone (Sussex, N.J.) and senior Daniela Alvarez (Santa Ana, Calif.) led the Friars in the circle. Grifone appeared in 30 games with 19 appearances in the starting lineup. She carried a 12-9 record with a 2.56 ERA. She struck out a team-high 176 batters over 134.0 innings pitched. Alvarez concluded the season with a 8-7 record. She posted a 3.54 ERA and struck out 86 batters over 106.2 innings.
