Providence College travels to Villanova, Pa. to take on the Villanova Wildcats on Saturday, April 16. Face-off is set for 1:00 p.m. at Villanova Stadium.

Providence kicked off BIG EAST paly with a road trip to Milwaukee, Wis. this past Saturday, Apr. 2. The Friars fell to the Golden Eagles, 16-11. Two Friars – Evan McGreen and Ryan Bell recorded hat tricks while Matt Grillo recorded his 100th career goal.

Senior attackman Matt Grillo recorded his 100th career goal as Friar this past Saturday against Marquette. He will is the fifth Friar to reach the milestone behind Ed Loiselle '92, Ken Leahy '00, Chris McManus '97 and Mike Chapey '86.
SCOUTING VILLANOVA...
The Wildcats enter Saturday's game with a record of 6-4 overall (1-1 BIG EAST). Their one loss was against the Denver Pioneers last Saturday, Apr. 9.
Villanova was selected third in the 2022 Preseason BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Coaches' Poll and received 17 votes.
PLAYERS TO WATCH...
Matt Campbell leads the offensive charge for Villanova. Campbell ranks first in points (46) and goals (33) and second in assists (13). Graduate transfers Luke Keating and Brett Baskin both have tallied over 30 points this season with 39 and 36, respectively.
On the defensive side, Justin Coppola ranks 7th in the country in faceoff winning percentage. He is .615 from the faceoff x with a team high 90 ground balls.
Will Vitton will be in net for the Wildcats. Vitton averages 10.2 saves per game, holds a .533 save percentage and gives up 10.66 goals per game.
