PROVIDENCE TRAVELS TO FAIRFIELD...
Providence College will travel to Stag territory as the take on Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn. this Saturday, Mar. 19 at 1:00 p.m. This marks the first away game for the Friars after a four-game homestand.

SERIES BREAKDOWN... 
Since 1980, the Stags and Friars have met 20 times. Fairfield leads the all-time series, 13-7.

PROVIDENCE HOLDS OFF VERMONT, 12-10...
Providence concluded its four-game homestand with a 12-10 victory over Vermont on Saturday, March 12. Five Friars scored two goals during the match and Chris Cusolito, Michael Chabra, and Evan McGreen each tallied a team-high three points. Defensively, Mike O'Grady recorded a team-high five ground balls while Michael Harris earned his fourth win in net for Providence. With the win, the Friars improve to 4-3 on the season.

GRILLO, HORRIGAN AND MCGREEN PICK UP BIG EAST WEEKLY AWARDS...
Matt Grillo and Jack Horrigan earned BIG EAST Weekly Awards on Monday, March 14. Grillo was named Attack Player of the Week for the second time this season and Horrigan was named Freshman of the Week. Evan McGreen was featured on the Honor Roll for his second time this season. Grillo powered the Providence attack with seven goals after a 2-0 week for the Friars while Horrigan recorded four goals. McGreen totaled seven points on three goals and four assists.

SCOUTING FAIRFIELD... 
The Stags are coming off a 16-11 victory against Binghamton. They hold a 4-3 record on the season and average 14 goals per game, registering 98 goals on the season.

PLAYERS TO WATCH...  
In the team's victory against Binghamton, rookie Jack McKenna led attack with five goals. Mike Drake and Max Paparozzi also recorded hat tricks with four and three goals, respectively.
Goaltender James Corasaniti made an impressive career-high 21 saves.

WHAT'S NEXT... 
The Friars welcome Hofstra University to Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in Providence, R.I. for their final non-conference matchup of the 2022 season. Face-off is set for Saturday, Mar. 26 at 1:00 p.m.
