GRILLO, HORRIGAN AND MCGREEN PICK UP BIG EAST WEEKLY AWARDS...
Matt Grillo and
Jack Horrigan earned BIG EAST Weekly Awards on Monday, March 14. Grillo was named Attack Player of the Week for the second time this season and Horrigan was named Freshman of the Week.
Evan McGreen was featured on the Honor Roll for his second time this season. Grillo powered the Providence attack with seven goals after a 2-0 week for the Friars while Horrigan recorded four goals. McGreen totaled seven points on three goals and four assists.
SCOUTING FAIRFIELD...
The Stags are coming off a 16-11 victory against Binghamton. They hold a 4-3 record on the season and average 14 goals per game, registering 98 goals on the season.
PLAYERS TO WATCH...
In the team's victory against Binghamton, rookie Jack McKenna led attack with five goals. Mike Drake and Max Paparozzi also recorded hat tricks with four and three goals, respectively.
Goaltender James Corasaniti made an impressive career-high 21 saves.
