PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Friars will finish out a four-game home streak against Vermont on Saturday, Mar. 11. Face-off is set for 1:00 p.m. at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in Providence, R.I.

SERIES BREAKDOWN • PROVIDENCE VS. VERMONT... The Friars and Catamounts have met 21 times since 1983. Vermont leads the series, 12-9. In 2017, the Friars defeated Vermont, 8-6.
LAST TIME OUT…
The Friars most recently hosted Sacred Heart and secured their first home of the season as they defeated the Pioneers, 16-12. Matt Grillo recorded a team-high five goals in the match-up and secured his 16th-career hat trick. Jack Horrigan secured his second career hat trick with three goals. Goaltender Matt Murakami earned his first win in net for Providence and Richie Hughson recorded a team-high 18 ground balls. Providence dominated in the X, winning 72% of face-offs and improved to 3-3 on the season.
SCOUTING VERMONT... The Catamounts are 2-4 on the season, with wins over Penn State (2-4) and Bryant (2-4). The team averages 45.5 shots on goal this year, and has registered 67 goals on the season. Vermont is coming off a tough one goal loss, 8-7 against Dartmouth this past Tuesday.
PLAYERS TO WATCH... David Closterman leads the Catamounts in points, with eight assists and nine goals. Liam Limoges and Thomas McConvey share the team goal title, with 13 goals each on the season.
