Friars game on April 1 vs. Quinnipiac has been postponed; Providence will play Northeastern at 1:00 p.m. on April 1.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College field hockey game vs. Quinnipiac, scheduled for Thursday, April 1 at 3:00 p.m., has been postponed. The two teams will look to make up the game before the end of the regular season. The Friars and Bobcats will still play their scheduled game on Saturday, April 3 in Hamden, Conn.
On Thursday, the Friars will now face non-conference opponent Northeastern. The match will take place on Lennon Family Field in Providence, R.I. at 1:00 p.m. The Friars and Huskies were scheduled to play earlier this season, but the game was called off due to a pause in Northeastern's program.
