College Makes Change In Leadership Of Softball Head Coach Position

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was announced today (May 10) that Providence College has made a change in leadership as Kerri Jacklets will not continue to serve as the softball head coach. Jacklets served as the Providence College softball coach for 13 seasons. The College will begin a national search immediately to fill this position.

"I appreciate all that Coach Jacklets has done for the program and wish her well in the future," Providence College Athletics Director Bob Driscoll said. "Kerri has been a part of the Friar family for many years as a player and as a coach. I have great respect for her and her long standing loyalty to Providence College and our softball program."
