PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College softball team held its annual Pink Out game on Saturday, April 12 at Raymond Field. Members of the team raised money for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation by selling pink paper bats for $2. The team raised a total of $511 for the foundation.

All proceeds that were collected will go directly to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.

At the game, breast cancer survivor Danielle Treglia threw out the first pitch. Posters with all the sold bats were hung up on the fence and Providence wore custom pink uniforms for the double header against St. John's.
