Dates For Field Hockey Alumni Weekend Set

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College field hockey program will hold its Alumni Weekend on April 26-27. The festivities will kick off with the First Annual Friar Field Hockey Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 26. On Sunday, April 27, the program will hold its annual Alumni Game.

The Friar Field Hockey Golf Tournament will be held at Cranston Country Club in Cranston, R.I. The entry fee is $100 per person / $360 per foursome. The event includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, bagels and snacks at registration, beverages during your round of golf, raffle prizes, tournament gifts and awards. The day will conclude with a barbeque. Registration for the tournament on the day of the event begins at 10:00 a.m. Golf will begin at 11:00 a.m.

To reserve your spot in the Friar Field Hockey Golf Tournament, please visit the link at the bottom of this release to download a brochure. On the brochure, you also may choose to become a tee sponsor, make a monetary donation or donate raffle items/prizes. The golf tournament is open to all friends, fans and alumni of Friar Field Hockey.

The 2008 Field Hockey Alumni Game will be held at Noon on Sunday, April 27 at the Friar Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex in Providence, R.I. The program also has planned a post-game lunch. Each participant will receive a Friar Field Hockey T-Shirt.
