Softball Sweeps Yale 6-0 and 8-2

PROVIDENCE, R.I --The Lady Friar softball team defeated Yale University, 6-0 and 8-2 in Providence, R.I. In the first contest, the Friars controlled the game after scoring four runs in the second inning to go ahead 5-0. PC pitcher Robyn West allowed only six hits from the mound.

In the second game, Yale scored two runs in the first, but PC responded in the second inning again. Providence scored six runs and handed the Bulldogs their second loss of the day by the score of 8-2. PC connected on 11 hits as Heather Nathan belted a home run in the contest.
