Softball Defeats Dartmouth, 7-3

PROVIDENCE, R.I --The Lady Friar softball team defeated Dartmouth, 7-3 in the first game at Providence, R.I.

PC recorded four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to give the Friars a commanding 7-1 lead. Providence was led by junior outfielder Maureen Moore, who recorded three hits and freshman pitcher Robyn West, who completed the game for her ninth win of the season.

The second game was called after the sixth inning due to darkness at a 0-0 stalemate. The Friars connected on six hits while Dartmouth only managed two hits before the game came to a halt.

Providence improves to 10-12-2 while Dartmouth falls to 2-13-1.
